We are looking for a qualified sales representative to help sell the products and services our customers rely on to prospective HHS teams in new
geographic territories. This position will report directly to our VP of Sales & Marketing.


Job Profile:

You are a proven and seasoned software sales closer who enjoys the challenge of turning leads into customers. You have the drive to keep your pipeline full and the patience to manage a long sales cycle. Ideal if you have sold to government agencies and/or are familiar with ECM systems. You are an excellent communicator, have a consultative approach to sales and are excited about applying your skills and knowledge to new challenges. You enjoy working with people, traveling as needed and working remotely.


Responsibilities:

Hands on contributor who will drive sales in new geographic territories.


Sales Responsibilities:


  • Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on potential customers.
  • Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business.
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing potential client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often including product demos and presentations.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections.
  • Represent the company’s products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers.
  • Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other required documentation for executive-level presentations.
  • Research the most beneficial tradeshows/conferences for NCT to attend and coordinate NCT presence at same.
  • Be a contributing member of Sale & Marketing Team. Collaborate with marketing and communicate needs for ongoing sales enablement tools (collateral materials, presentation materials, case studies, web site info, etc.)
  • Research and understand competitive landscape.
  • Become an expert with our clients’ industry and business needs.

Qualifications for success:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of sales experience within the software industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with sales management software and CRM (we use HubSpot)
  • Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
  • Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time
